3 out of 5 stars Good for the novice smoker   January 27, 2008
Eric B. Olsen (panhandle, Florida)
The humidor serves its purpose in holding up to 20 cigars and keeping them moist. One change that I will definitely make to the humidor is the hygrometer. I believe the hygrometer is the only real drawback to going cheap with the purchased product. The seller did a good job of getting the humidifier to me in the mail and it was in good condition.

5 out of 5 stars Great value   November 17, 2007
Nomdeplume (Badlands)
This was a fantactic first humidor. Nice dark exterior, good cedar liner, inexpensive, good seal. The only knock is the velcro that attackhes the humidifier to the interior, it peels off a little too easily. It is still perfect for someone who takes extended trips as I do, and it's inobtrusive and elegant enough for the home.

4 out of 5 stars Great little humidor   April 23, 2007

This is a perfect little humidor for those just begining to enjoy cigars (like myself). The humidor arrived quickly and in perfect shape. Make sure to prepare your humidor before you begin putting cigars in, or else you'll end up with a bunch of dried out smokes. br / br /My only complaint (as mentioned by others) is that the humidifer is attached with a cheap piece of velcro. I had to use a little dab of glue to get the pieces to stick to the back of the humidifer and another dab to get the other piece onto the top of the humidor. br / br /Overall, a great product. Looks classy and wasn't too expensive.

4 out of 5 stars first humidor, great for price, just what expected   February 16, 2007

I am overall happy with this product. This is my first humidor, so I can't compare it to any others. The look and feel is impressive. It has a lip that comes up on the inside that is higher than the junction b/w the top and bottom lids if that makes sense. Basically, it seems to be in order to create a better seal. br / br /I have only had it a week, so i don't know how long the humidifier will hold up, but there are many other cheap options for humidification if the included one does not hold up. EVEN IF YOU DON'T BUY THIS READ THIS, read the instructions on their web page for humidor, humidifier, gauge instructions. i am a virgin and did not know any of those things. i threw a cigar in immediately, put in tap water, and didn't zero the gauge, none of what you are supposed to do. [...]i think is the site. br / br /basically, get this if you need a cheap humidor, just starting, etc. my cigar's are under 10 bucks, and i don't smoke more than one a month. this is perfect for me.

3 out of 5 stars good starter humidor   January 23, 2007
Torkx2 (Knoxville, TN)
Cigars are a new "hobby" for me and I'm on a tight budget so I did not want to spend a mint on a humidor. I am not a high volume smoker (1 per month?) so this little 15-20 sized one seemed just right as a starter. All in all...I'd say it's not bad for the price. I'd agree with one reviewer that it doesn't exactly hold the humidity at exactly %70 for very long but for $20...what do you expect? I'm pleased with it, especially for what I paid for it.
