Great starter humi. Snug top, does the woosh sound when you drop the lid. Latch works great, cool beveled glass top. The included humidifier is of the green floral type which works great when combined with 50/50 distilled water and Propylene Glycol however the velcro did not stick to the side for more than one day it could have been all the humidity, but thats okay I just placed it on the bottom of the humi. The included analog hygrometer is very accurate and the humidity after seasoning is holding steady at 70-72 percent. The box itself is somewhat on the smaller side but still a great starter humi. I have about 20 sticks in it right now. Great buy for the price and quality. I recommend this product and recommmend the seller.

Just recently bought this humidor. I'm quite new to cigars and after having a few dry out I thought it time for a humidor. I was certain I wanted a glass top for attractive looks and this unit really delivers. From it's glass top to it's brass corners it's very classy for such an inexpensive humidor. I followed the instructions plus some I found online and got it up an running. I disagree with the other reviewer who said the hygrometer is useless - mine works perfectly fine. Either he didn't calibrate his or the one he received was truly broken. You can adjust (calibrate) the hygrometer using a flathead screwdriver as there is a slot on the back. After following the hygrometer instructions you then use the screwdriver to set the hygrometer where it should be. After doing that I now see the humidity reading change accordingly. (ie. open the box the humidity drops a little, then starts balancing out again after it's been closed for a while). Also, as I mentioned I added one extra step to preparing the humidor and that's wiping the inside wood down with a damp (not overly wet!) cloth. I've read to do this from several top cigar websites and it makes sense. Overall I think this was a great buy. Shipping was also super fast.

I had been shopping locally for a good, decent, and affordable humidor for such a long time. The cheapest ones I could find were over US$500, far too much for my budget. Then I came across this wonderful piece and I have never been more pleased with this purchase! What a gem of a affordable humidor - the finishing is good, the seal is good, the hygrometer was spot on accurate (after calibration check), the wood was well finished, and the closure latch was firm and positive.
Only doubt I have is the metal corner plates - it's possible that it will not last very long in high humidity countries but it can be easily replaced should it start to corrode. I hope I will be proven wrong.
Delivery time was fast and much earlier than I had expected.
Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase - a good, fine product!

The box itself is well-made and very nice looking for something at this price point. However, the hygrometer (at least the one I received) is useless -- does not work at all. I like the humidor itself enough that I'll just buy another hygrometer to put inside it, but since the included one inserts into a hole in the front of the box, I'll keep it there just for looks...
