I bought this to house my expanding cigar collection. Up until now I had been using tupaware type containers, but the time had come to get a real humidor. Out of the box, this humi exceeding my expectations appearance-wise. The seal does seem air-tight, even before seasoning (which is the stage I am at right now).
This weekend, I discovered a cigar auction site, so it looks like I'll be in the market for another humidor like this soon.
